Activites: Simple Circuits
Simple Circuits is a free class aimed at adults who would like to become more physically active in a friendly group environment.
The sessions are based on a low intensity circuit, which offers individuals a chance to increase physical activity levels at a pace and intensity that is right for them.
The circuit is designed specifically for people who are not regular exercisers or who have certain health problems (e.g. overweight, high blood pressure, diabetes etc). We follow a number of safety guidelines, and don't expect you to work beyond your capabilities; therefore it is a perfect way to make that start in getting active.
Simple circuits are to take place weekly over a 12 week period, with regular attendance being key in achieving significant improvements. The course is not extended if you miss a session, although we understand this cannot always be helped, however it is important to attend as many of the sessions as possible, as we want you to get the most out of it.
People who have regularly attended the circuit class previously have already shown improvements such as reduced blood pressure, weight loss and improved flexibility. However, just as important are the psychological benefits, such as reduced tiredness and a sense of wellbeing.
Simple circuits is a way to introduce you to exercise, by maintaining that exercise program after the initial 12 weeks you will continue to see health improvements over a longer term.

New Circuit Session coming to Helston
From Tuesday 13th July LEAPActive are running a new simple circuit session at Helston Sports Centre. The session will run every Tuesday for 12 weeks.
The session is an excellent opportunity, particularly for those who want to improve their health, get fitter and loose weight. Its also an excellent chance to meet new people whilst having fun. For further details or to enrol contact Chris Wood on 01209 310062.
